Car Models
Our car models are high-quality miniatures in HO collector scale (1:87), modeled after classics and vintage vehicles. The program includes a wide range of more than 300 different models:
- Passenger cars
- Transporters
- Delivery vans
- Light trucks
- Heavy trucks with hoods or as cab-over-engine, articulated trucks, and tractor-trailers with box, tank, and flatbed trailers
- Tractors (Unimog, LANZ-Bulldog)
- Municipal vehicles
- Fire engines
- Emergency vehicles from various rescue services
- Buses
Since January 2007, BREKINA has been the exclusive distributor of DRUMMER models, and since January 2009, also of the brands STARMADA and Resina.
Model Trains
Since 2005, BREKINA has offered electrically powered rail vehicles in HO scale 1:87. In February 2009, BREKINA introduced a draisine in the large scale 1:22.5 (IIm) for garden railway enthusiasts. Additionally, models in N scale were also introduced.
The models were developed and built according to NEM standards and can be used seamlessly on corresponding model railway layouts.
In 2018, we discontinued the model railway program. The N scale models were transferred to Modellbahn Union, Hamm. The HO and G models did not find new manufacturers or successors.
BREKINA Car Magazines and BREKINA Car History
These publications cover topics related to vehicle history. The BREKINA Car Magazine is published regularly in February, along with the trade fair news. It reports on the prototypes of the models, showcases the newly released special models, covers the scene, and serves as a link between the company and collectors. Under the title BREKINA Car History, various books on commercial vehicle history were published, all of which are sold out.
General Information:
All BREKINA models are designed based on classic and vintage prototypes. Current modern models are not part of the product range. BREKINA models are only available through toy retailers; there is no factory or direct sales.
The models are intended for adult collectors; they are not toys for children.
In addition to the standard program shown in brochures, which is supplemented by numerous new items throughout the year, we produce custom special models for industry and trade based on existing base types.
